Marlene Klepees Healing Ministry

Marlene Klepees Will Be Sharing Her Testimony and Ministering To the Sick for 2 Services Sunday March 12th at 9 am and 6 pm bring and invite your friends and family to hear her Testimony and receive ministry.
Born with Cerebral Palsy, orphaned before the age of two, raised by great-grandparents, the first two years of Marlene’s life set the pace for the next several years. Because of the Cerebral Palsy, her vision, speech and motor skills were greatly affected. At the age of five, Marlene was finally able to walk with the aid of braces and a walker.

17022315_1867722066842236_1488910348571738507_nIn December of 1980, Marlene had seizures that lasted for two days. She had  apparently hit her head, causing additional brain stem injuries. At 18, Marlene was a quadriplegic, in a fetal position, barely able to communicate. A total care nursing home was the only option for her life. She was taken to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where doctors assessed the damage of the latest brain injury. While there, God gave her a vision that He was going to heal her on March 29, 1981. THREE WEEKS AWAY! During an interesting and at times funny series of events, the Lord was able to bring everything into line so that the miraculous could happen … exactly as seen in Marlene’s vision.

Since that miraculous day Marlene has told her story on TBN, the 700 Club, The Sid Roth show, as well as on other television and radio shows and at many conferences and churches. She has held healing seminars and has a burning desire to share the message that God’s healing power is for everyone. You don’t need a vision to experience it; it’s a promise to those who believe. Mark 16: 17-18.

Healing In The Passover Lamb

passover_door_bloodRemember the story of the Passover Lamb. Israel was supposed to kill a lamb, wipe blood on their doorpost and then consume all of the Lamb in a meal. That night when the Angel sees the blood on the doorpost he “passes over” that home preserving their firstborn. The homes of the Egyptians which did not have any blood on their door posts, all experienced the loss of their first born. There is so much to “mine down on” in this story, let’s look at a one significant point. The LORD preached healing to Israel before they ever left Egypt. Read it all here Exodus 12

But he brought his people safely out of Egypt, loaded with silver and gold; there were no sick or feeble people among them. (Ps 105:37, NLT)

The Lord brought deliverance from the Bondage of Egypt and healing to His people. God preached healing to Israel before they ever left Egypt. The Passover Lamb revealed the forgiveness of sins; the blood of the Lamb covered their sin. What an incredible picture of Jesus our Passover Lamb. It also was a type and shadow of healing and health.  They were required to eat the body of the Lamb entirely for physical strength. It is a beautiful picture Jesus broken body bringing the forgiveness of our sins and the healing of our bodies. Jesus is our savior and healing.

To clearly understand the revelation, one must give full attention to the full meaning of the Passover and experience of physical healing that took place among a people who numbered in excess of 2 million. These were slaves they didn’t have access to the best foods or finest diet, nor did they have access to health care.

But he brought his people safely out of Egypt, loaded with silver and gold; there were no sick or feeble people among them. (Ps 105:37, NLT)

Passover Wine“Feeble” in Psalm 105:37 CF Isaiah 35:3-5 Where the context is to healing of the blind, deaf, lame, and dumb. Strongs Definition: Feeble: Kashal (Kaw-Shal’): To totter or waiver by implication, to falter, stumble, faint, or fall.

If you’ve never had the chance to experience a Passover Seder with Messianic believers you really must. The entire experience shouts of Jesus and will strengthen your faith. Next time you celebrate communion or the The Lord’s Super remember you’re reflecting upon the Passover, be sure to appropriate all of the benefits; forgiveness and healing.

Demystifying the Prophetic

Greetings, we’re Chris and Yvette Ferguson and are currently on full time staff at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City. We have been married for over 20 years and have two children, Sasha our teenager and her younger brother Zach. Prior to moving to Kansas City we were Associate Pastors at TurningPoint Community Church in the Greater Seattle area. We came to Kansas City in October 2005 to be immersed in a culture and community of Prayer! As Intercessory Missionaries we spend 24 hours per week in prayer and 24+ hours in service to the Missions Base. Our greatest joy has been seeing our children’s heart come alive in the LORD.

Chris has served 23 “INTRO TO IHOP-KC” Internships as Senior Core Leader. He now serves all Internships asDirector of Pastoral Care. Coaching, mentoring and raising up the next generation of Leaders in each of IHOP’s four Internships: Onething, Fire in the Night, Intro to IHOP, and the Simeon Company. Hundreds go through the Internships each year.

Our Passion is for the local church! We love how the LORD is awakening hearts all over the globe to messages of  prayer, intimacy, intercession, the end-times, and justice to the Body of Christ. Equipping believers to thrive in the place of prayer and intimacy and seeing their hearts come alive is one of our greatest thrills. A quote by A.W. Tozer describes how we want to live our lives!

“God is looking for a people through whom HE can do the impossible! Isn’t it a pity we only plan to do for God the things we can accomplish ourselves.”

We are available to serve your church, ministry, business team, or other group setting. We can do a meeting, a series of meetings or a special conference. Our sessions can be tailored to the needs of your group. Both Chris and Yvette  are available for Sunday morning services, conferences, and church retreats. We would love to have the privilege to bring the messages the LORD has birthed in our hearts:

  • Demystifying the Prophetic: Learning to Hear God’s Voice: The Bible says “Earnestly Desire…” The gifts of the Spirit are meant to edify and build up the body of Christ, and yet they have been shrouded in mystery, misuse, abuse, and neglect. We unpack the teachings in scripture that deymystify prophecy  and the other gifts. Our main emphasis is upon “Prophetic Activation”. We define success in this training as you gaining confidence that you hear God’s voice and can share words with others. The gifts are so simple a child can operate in them.  In our full workshop we highlight much of the same training staff have receive at the Prophecy Rooms in Kansas City
  • Coming to JESUS for Healing:  There is huge gap between what the Bible says about God as a healer and what most of us in the west have experienced. Our first encounter with the House of Prayer was attending a Healing Technicians Workshop. I will never forget that first healing I witnessed! The heart of the Father is not about “Platform Ministries” but is for believers to heal the sick. This workshop is about shortening the gap between what the Bible says about healing and what we experience. Again our heart is to see the Body of Christ equipped to do the works. As we say at IHOP: “Encounter  God, Do His Works, and Change the World.” What we teach: What the Bible teaches on healing. The difference between a miracle and healing. How to contend for your healing! How to operate your own healing rooms.
  • Tools for a Praying Church-  A Every Christian knows we should pray and yet most of us have experienced the exasperation of many “boring or difficult prayer times”. You wouldn’t imagine a carpenter building a home without the proper tools or training, so why does it surprise us that we fall short in our attempts at prayer? Over the years we’ve discovered several tools that strengthen our prayer lives. Making the most of our times and helping prayer become enjoyable. Some of the tools include: Developing Prayer Lists, Biblical Meditation, Prayer Reading the Scriptures, A.R.K, and others. The right tools and skills will revolutionize your quiet time with the LORD! God Is Good! – Bill Johnson

Ps 103:2-5
Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits–who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Healing Testimonies

I read Leonard Jones’ Blog regularly and wanted to share this testimony. God is so good. I am so in love with You…Jesus. The stuff is real the reason we don’t see more of it is because we fail to ask or we quit asking when we appear to fail!
“We rode over to Franklin, North Carolina on Monday and tried to check into the Comfort Inn. I kept ringing the bell and no one came. Finally, a girl came out with tears in her eyes and said she had some kind of bladder infection. I make it a habit to pray for people that come right out and say they are sick, no matter who is around. So I asked if we could pray for her, much to the surprise of the people waiting to check in. Chuck Mervin and I laid hands on her and God healed her. It seems that the gospel works better outside of church meetings. Although I absolutely love to meet together with other believers, and worship and hear the Word, it seems that the signs and wonders come easier outside. LEO”

Islamic faith healers condemn ‘charlatans’

ABU DHABI (AFP) – Witch doctors have “soiled the image of Islam” by prescribing harmful treatments in the guise of faith healing, according to Muslim clerics and doctors who gathered in Abu Dhabi to affirm the healing powers of the Koran.

Delegates agreed that the Koran has healing powers, with some going so far as to claim that the holy book can cure AIDS’ and some forms of cancer.

Sheikh Jallul Hajimi, an official in the Algerian ministry of religious affairs, told AFP he had cured “Europeans suffering from mental and sexual illnesses that psychologists and neurologists had failed to treat.”

“More than 400 people have converted to Islam after receiving Koranic medical treatments,” added his colleague, Sheikh Abu Muslim Balhamr.

Many Muslims believe the Koran can cure illness. The most common treatment consists of drinking water with pieces of paper bearing Koranic verses dissolved in it.

In what he described as a blending of the longstanding practice with modern technology, Sharif Shukran, an Algerian biomedical engineer attending the conference, proposed transforming the sound of Koranic verses into electromagnetic waves and passing them through the water instead.

God Answers Prayers a Testimony of Healing

Below you will find two emails that we recently sent to friends and family who are apart of our personal prayer and support team. People responded immediately with an outpouring of prayer. Late yesterday afternoon…we got word of God’s response and baby Samuel’s release. So why post it here? Because when God answers our prayers we must share it. When weak and broken people like ourselves are allowed the chance to pray and see God move we have to share it. His glory must be proclaimed in all the earth. Because this is a “public” forum I removed our friends’ last name from the post.

God is at work! Last night John called to us on his way home from the hospital. Baby Samuel was released from the Hospital. The doctors performed an MRA (more advanced and more expensive scanning technology) and determined that the blood spot was a bruise. This bruise should eventually be absorbed into the body and he should be fine. The Doctors are saying that he shouldn’t have another seizure. Thank you for your prayers. It was such a joy to hear the entire family would be home together after 8 days in the hospital. God is faithful. God is so faithful!

Your prayers make a difference. Those quick “arrow prayers” and those large “bon-fire” type prayers all are effective.

When we see God’s hand we have two responsibilities: 1. To share our testimony giving God glory. 2. To be changed by God’s miraculous intervention; moved to pray for another and see God move again.

James 5:13-18
13 Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
17 Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. 18 Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.
(from New International Version)

Thank you for your prayers.

Please pray for John & Lydia. Their baby Samuel was born 8 days ago and had a siezure while in the hospital. The tests revealed a blood spot on his brain. I went up to the hospital last night and prayed with them. They were expecting to be discharged yesterday, but the latest MRI/Catscan(i forget which one) came back with no change in the blood spot. Which leads Doctors to think there is a possibility of continued bleeding. They have no clue as to the cause/source. He hasn’t had a seizure since Wednesday. He is absolutely beautiful!

There will be another test today. John is hopeful that they will be going home today. This is based upon faith and the Word of God…not what the Doctors are saying. Cause the Doctors don’t know what to say at this point.

Pray for Lydia and John’s emotional strength. We are praying for a full healing a breaking in of the Divine Hand to do the impossible. (above photo is not baby sammuel)
