Pastor Eric Wiezorek of Hope Center Church Beaver Crossing, Nebraska has asked us to bring a team of 6 to 10 volunteers. Who can help establish a prayer tent, love and pray for towns people, and/or do general clean up after the town of Beaver Crossing was decimated by a Tornado.
“Our Friends Pastors Eric Wiezorek & Kari Wiezorek town of Beaver Crossing Nebraska was hit by aTornado. Mothers Day. Nearly every home has sustained damage. Their Church HOPE Center has a damaged roof and basement flooded. None of our friends or church members were injured but all have suffered.
Please pray for wisdom as the reach out to their neighbors to restore and rebuild. May people rebuild their lives on the only sure foundation! The Wiezorek’s are former IHOPKC staff. “
We Tentatively plan to leave Wednesday, May 14th at Noon and return Thursday or Friday. Limited number of seats. If you can drive, the church will help with your gas if necessary. Food and housing providing. You will sleep in a house but bring a sleeping bag and pillow.
If you are qualified to do any of the 3 things below, please consider coming. You don’t have to posses all of the skills below, the simple act of loving and praying would be huge.
1. If you can play acoustic guitar and sing.
2. Pray and love people.
3.Do general clean up. We NEED YOU.
Refer anyone who is of high character and strong work ethic. You do NOT have to be disaster Certified. The Insurance Company has declared their church a total loss.
Although this is a public forum, I am only extending this invitation to people I’ve actually met, or IHOPKC, IHOPU, Forerunner Christian Fellowship.
