Favorably reviewed by the Washington Post and Garden Design Magazine, this garden blog is a favorite with experienced and beginning gardeners. Garden Rant has informative articles, clear photos, and helpful advertisements.

Digginfood is owned by lifelong gardener Willi Galloway. Her blog provides many pictorial step-by-step instructions on things like how to sprout peas indoors and videos on growing and harvesting salad greens. All the photos are clear and instructions understandable.

Veggie Gardening Tips is the garden blog of Kenneth E. Point. It is a uniform site with sections on recent and previous posts, categories, archives, organic gardening videos, and a search engine. It displays colorful photographs and beginning gardening tips like how to mulch and tips on organic gardening.

Steve Snedeker’s Landscaping and Gardening Blog has been around since January 2006. He has more than two dozen categories, ranging from artists to water features, and an archive section full of informative gardening articles and photos.
