I do not have cable television. I do not follow the “news”. My husband and I are pastors of a small church and we had to pray off some “stuff” off people who had gone to the Todd revivals. So I decided to look into this.
I am extremely disappointed in what Bill Johnson has to say. The only righteous thinking from Bill Johnson is praying for Todd, Shauna and their children.
Todd, was deceived by evil spirits. Not only Todd but Peter Wagner and all those other pastors that went to acknowledge and put their mark of approval on these revivals. SHAME ON YOU ALL FOR NOT TESTING THE SPIRITS.
I TOO have gone through the shame of being deceived by evil spirits. I too was shamed for following the evil for a short time. Thank GOD, for allowing me to be there, so that I can say to all you pastors, “I understand… You thought this was really God speaking and touching.
Remember the scripture that says that “For the time has come for judgement to begin at the house of God; And if begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?”
God just wants to expose the stuff in our hearts that shouldn’t be there. It’s a good thing to get reprimanded. That just means that you DO belong to Him, you’re His kid.
Hebrew 12:6 “…because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son.”
Our job is to accept our screw up. Let our heart receive it and admit it, for when we CONFESS with our mouth, aka, out loud, in front of others, then we are forgiven. Basically then the devil has no more authority over you.
Listen, if we who are saved, could almost be deceived, what WILL happen to those who do not OBEY the Gospel our our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Nazareth?
Being caught in the devil’s trap is just a renewal of our calling for us to go out and preach he gospel to the unsaved. But we sometimes have to tell ourselves first.
