Welcome my name is ChriS Ferguson. I am a Follower of Jesus. A Husband. A Father. A Son. A Friend. A Learner. A Dreamer. I am a full time Intercessory Prayer Missionary. What’s that you ask? Stick around and you’ll find out.
We will talk about life, prayer, Jesus, and all things related. We’ll have some fun too! We’d love to have you visit often. Share your thoughts as long as we are respectful–all opinions are welcome….well most!

Chris,
Just love your web name “Soul Pants”. It’s been sticking in my mind as something that strikes a cord, but couldn’t place it. It is certainly a clever play off of the Psalms. But I have finally figured out that it is because is reminds me of “Sponge Bob Soul Pants”.
Thought you’d want to know the subliminal attraction to children and the totally carnal.
I think what I love about the name of this blog is that it sounds like both a deep sense of yearning and the elastic-waste article of clothing you wear after you eat soul food.
I surfed across your blog today and I came to appreciate what you have here. I have added you to my Humor Blog blogroll and was wondering if you might add me to yours? Either way, thanks for the great experience of visiting your site and hope you enjoy mine. Thanks Kerry Ann
We just wanted to say hello. We have you on our top friends list on Shoutlife. We were reading different articles about Todd Bentley and his family and came across your website. May the Lord use this ministry to reach many. Take care, Josh and Jen Wymore
I am the producer of independent films and a Christian podcast. We are contacting other ministries to let them know about us and to ask for your help in spreading the word. Our market is somewhat challenged now by the difficulties of the economy and we would love any help we can get.
Our next feature film is an evangelistic comedy that will be out in 2009. The film’s website is available at http://www.bringingupbobby.com. There you can find a handy press guide, pictures, trailers, and banners. Believe me, this is like no other Christian film you have seen — a clearly evangelistic film about being fully committed to Christ and that does not shy away from big belly laughs.
Please help us to get the word out. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Chris Staron

Chris – I’d love to get a copy of Brother Yun’s new book, Living Water, over to you.
Let’s talk later today.
Thanks!
Praise The Lord!
Brother Chris,
I am an anointed evangelist from India. I have written a book by God’s grace and I want to get it published. My financial status doesn’t allow me to think of self-publishing.
The Lord’s hand is on the book and I am confident that it will be a blessing to the body of Christ.
Please pray for the book to be published soon.
Thanking you.

hi Chris -
just checking out your blog. your website seems to be down…
i would like to talk to u about your tag line for your blog.
it says: “One who hungers to know God and have fun too!”
also your “about” section says:
“We will talk about life, prayer, Jesus, and all things related. We’ll have some fun too!”
first let me say that i believe your heart is right to follow after our Lord and that your intentions are also probably right too.
however both of those statements don’t sit well with me, and i’m going to assume with you either once u hear my perspective on them. u see, by the sound of them… they make a separation that should not be there.
your blog tag line separates knowing God and having fun. as if knowing God is not fun. to me, it says that you hunger to know God… but don’t worry, i like to have fun in addition to that.
simply put – it implies… or possibly even speaks volumes… that knowing God is not fun.
i believe (and i think u will agree) that is the farthest thing from the truth. the truth is that knowing God is the greatest source of joy and fun in my life. i also like things like baseball, playing with my family, video games, etc… but my greatest source of fun is knowing God. does that make sense?
i would recommend reading this book: “Desiring God: Meditations of a Christian Hedonist” by John Piper
may the Lord bless you my brother!
Bob,
Thanks for commenting. I have read that John Piper book…Love Piper! The point of the tag line is exactly that…knowing God is fun. Most people however don’t get that, and think of God as mostly mad, instead of amazingly glad. Some stuffy being that removes fun…when in fact knowing God gives us the right context to experience fun!
I suppose you’ve put more thought into what I have said then I did, because honestly I think you and are in agreement.
